Bennet Atsu Foli is an oceanographer at the Regional Marine Centre, University of Ghana. He holds a B.Sc. in Oceanography and Fisheries from the University of Ghana, a postgraduate certificate in Ocean Observatories from the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences and an M.Phil. in Oceanography from the University of Ghana.
Since 2018 and as part of his work as an oceanographer at the University of Ghana, he has been involved in the Global Monitoring for Environment and Security (GMES) and Africa project, an EU and AUC sponsored project. Previously, he worked as an associate oceanographer (oceanography thematician) and Communication and Visibility Officer at the University of Ghana on the Monitoring for Environment and Security in Africa project, sponsored by MESA – EU.
