David Eades

David Eades is one of the most established faces of BBC World News TV. Working as a key anchor for the last 18 years, Eades has also been a foreign correspondent with the corporation, covering Europe, Ireland and the global sports news brief. He has reported from the scene of many historic events, including the death of Princess Diana, the Irish Peace Agreement and Brexit, along with many other major political, economic and business stories.

Eades has brought several original environmental stories to the screen at BBC World, reflecting his passion for seeking solutions to the climate change crisis.

For the past 15 years, Eades has also hosted and moderated at countless major conferences, focusing in particular on issues of sustainability and the environment as well as international politics. These have included global events on disaster prevention, Small State (SIDS) protection measures, ocean preservation and climate change impacts on the Arctic region.
