Emiliano Rodriguez Nuesch is a risk communications expert, specialized in disaster risk reduction and behavioral science. He has been involved in projects in over 30 countries, working with organizations such as the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), UNESCO, NASA, JICA, US Geological Survey and other organizations. In addition, he has worked in Tokyo, Japan, on four editions of the Final Fantasy Series of video games, which have sold more than 100 million copies around the world.
His work on risk communications with Greenpeace was awarded a Gold Lion at Cannes Festival of Creativity, and he has presented his work at a number of key locations, including the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR), Harvard Graduate School of Design (Boston, 2021), MIT Urban Risk Lab, SXSW and the US Geological Survey. He also worked as producer on the Tsunami Ladies documentary (JICA), The Girl and The Tsunami (UNESCO), Creating Change Through Music (Understanding Risk Conference), Disaster Fighters (World Bank) and Galapagos Infinito (IADB)
